Throughout my career in hospitality - and throughout my life - I’ve worked with people from all around the world.

Different nationalities, ages, genders and industries.

And something kept striking me.

I was so fired up for life, while people in what appeared to be much better positions didn’t share even half of my enthusiasm.

They had families, which I still want to create and experience. They had strong professional titles, good monthly incomes, savings, knowledge and powerful networks.

But their lack of enthusiasm for life was alarming.

They had built the life many people are working toward. But they no longer seemed excited to live it.

Some would say, “You cannot have everything.”

Others would say, “If it were just this…” or “If only that…”

But somewhere deep inside, I felt that some of their choices had taken them away from the life they actually wanted.

Having the life is not the same
as feeling alive inside it.

There’s a saying that you only need to make two smart choices in life: your partner and your career. Otherwise, you’ll need to be smart for the rest of your life.

Those choices matter. But I’m talking about something beyond simply having a family, a career or financial security.

I’m talking about being fired up about what you have.

You have a family. Why aren’t you fired up about them?

When I ask how they are, I’m expecting a spark in your eyes. A story. Something that makes you come alive.

Instead, I often hear: “Heeh… they’re doing fine.”

I’m pushing through life too.
But I’m still in love with it.

I have problems too. Sometimes I work two jobs and still fit in three training sessions a day. My mother is ill. I spend hours reading, researching, developing my skills and trying to build something of my own.

I’m pushing through life too.

But I’m passionate about it. I’m in love with life. I feel a burning desire to live, create and love - even when I don’t have a partner beside me.

Why shouldn’t you feel that too?

Don’t allow your career - or the companies you work for - to take all the juice you have for your life and your family.

Give your life priority.
Give your family priority.

They can give you something no company ever could.

And if you feel that your enthusiasm has been buried beneath work, responsibility and the rhythm you’ve been living, get in contact with me.

Let’s restructure and reframe your life together - with your genuine investment of time, energy and effort, and my guidance and support.
